Library Closure – 09/04

The Carnegie Library of Homestead will be closed Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen as usual on Tuesday, September 5.

Library Closure – 06/09

The Carnegie Library of Homestead will be closed Friday, June 9 while we have new computers installed. We will reopen as usual on Saturday, June 10.



Summer Reading

Your child can sign up for Summer Reading at the library and get a Summer Reading bag, full of stickers, coupons, and a book log to record everything they read this summer. Turn in the book log, and be entered to win prizes! The Carnegie Library of Homestead and the Athletic Club will be closed on Monday, May 22. Services will resume as usual on Tuesday, May 23.



Story Time

Every Wednesday at 11:30 am, we hold Story Time for young children. We read books, sing songs, and learn rhymes, helping children begin to develop literacy.
