Group Classes

Full descriptions of our group classes are below. For class dates and times, please see our Athletic Club Calendar.

All classes require at least four people and Spinning is limited to 13 riders.

Yoga Vinyasa

This class is designed to build flexibility and strength while moving through seated and standing poses. We’ll focus on linking our movements with our breath to create a practice that encourages fluid and intentional movement. This class is best suited for those who have some knowledge of yoga, but beginners are also welcome.

Back to Basics: Yoga

Fundamental yoga poses and relaxation techniques are taught to suit your individual goals! Increase your balance, flexibility, and strength while flowing through foundational yoga poses. All experience levels welcome.

Boom Class

BOOM MUSCLE (upper body and conditioning with weights & sports moves) BOOM MOVE IT (intense dance workout for cardio endurance) BOOM MIND (strength, confidence, flexibility for core, lower body, & balance).

Extreme 30

30 minutes of high intensity circuit training to tone and build muscle. This is an advance class that will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic fitness levels.

Morning Yoga

Strengthen and tone your entire body with easy yoga poses for beginners or anyone who wants to improve their yoga form. This class will strengthen your legs, hips and upper body for better balance and overall posture. Chairs will be used for support. End class with a savasana to calm your mind and relax every muscle.

Power Workout

In this 50-minute class we will warm up our entire body. Then with your choice of hand-held weight, bands and ball, we will tone and strengthen every muscle group. Class will end with a seated cool down and specific stretching.


A 50-60 minute stationary bike ride using interval training for fun cardio endurance! (Adjust resistance to your own fitness level.)


Unifies your mind and your body while using ancient principals in a series of movements. This exercise gives you the tools to RELAX and MOVE so that you can also use them out of class to develop a sense of well being. As you practice… you will improve your balance, co-ordination and concentration. Tai-Chi is suitable for anyone looking to improve your overall health. It has been proven to be an excellent exercise for Arthritis, Heart Disease, Fibromyalgia, High Blood Pressure and many other ailments. No prior experience required.


An effective 50-60 minute, exhilarating, Latin inspired, easy to follow, calorie burning, dance-fitness party.

Turbo Kick

Cardio kickboxing workout for all fitness levels!  Consisting of simple punches and kick combinations to the air, no bags, followed by legs and abs to awesome music! This is a full body workout for all to do!  Come join the cardio party!  On average burn around 700 in the 50 minute class. Sparkle aka sweat your way to a healthier you! Please bring a mat.

Hip Hop Cardio

A dash of dance and a heaping dose of cardio combined with the hottest music makes for an hour of mad calorie burn! Hip Hop Cardio is high impact cardio class including moves to 8 counts with plyometric and cardio based choreography.

MetKon Rx

Is a Full Body workout that incorporates Cardio, Upper and Lower Body, Weight Training, Core and More! The entire workout can be modified to accommodate ALL Fitness Levels!

Silver Sneakers® Classes

These particular classes for adults 65+ are a wonderful way to stay fit! Participants of any age are welcome! SilverSneakers, Global & Fit, Silver & Active Fit are innovative exercise programs specifically designed to meet Medicare beneficiaries’ unique health and physical needs. Eligible members receive a FREE CLUB MEMBERSHIP that allows them to enjoy specialized classes focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Arthritis Foundation

Is a low-impact physical activity program proven to reduce pain and stiffness. The routines include gentle range-of-motion exercises that are suitable for every fitness level.

Better Balance and Strength

This class will consist of slow, controlled, low impact and relaxing movements that will improve your blood circulation, balance, and movement. You will also improve your strength, flexibility, and range of motion. A Chinese inspired stress exercise.

Silver Sneakers® Cardio Circuit

Combine fun and fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, head-to-toe stretching, and complete relaxation in a comfortable position.

Silver Sneakers® Muscular Strength and Range of Movement

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

More Movement Together

More Movement Together with modified Tabata type exercise, increased use of cardio equipment (particularly, the elliptical), and introduction to weight machines and free weights. The MMT class will be driven by fun and fitness and friends (good Silver Sneakers principles) while giving participants a little extra punch to their workout. Of course there will be an opportunity to “phase in”: warm-up, progression, and the wonderful cool down (stretch, flexibility, and stability)

Boom Class

Aerobic Fitness

This class will consist of a warmup and continued aerobic movements to increase heart and muscle strength and balance. The use of weights, bands and a ball will offer resistance and flexibility. Class will end with stretching and a seated cool down.
